Nobody's Listening is a podcast started by two brothers, James and David Kennison. Their goal was to share stories from their crazy childhood and invite others with funny stories to do the same. The brothers recorded a pilot episode in late December 2006 but released their first episode (Episode 001 - Hallelujah) on December 28, 2006.

Nobody's Listening had a huge boost of listeners right away thanks to promos played and references made to the show by the hosts of The Weekly Murloc. The show was listed in iTunes under New & Notable for several weeks and was featured on iTunes store front page in the What's Hot category for a time. Nobody's Listening has been listed as a featured comedy podcast in iTunes since it's 5th episode.

The show suffered a setback in June of 2007 when co-host David moved to Ireland to raise his newborn daughter. Sibling Aimee filled in for a few weeks but was unable to continue due to family commitments. After a couple of (much hated) solo-casts (also known as MIA episodes) James began inviting a series of guest-hosts, professional podcasters, friends and regular listeners. Its struggles over, Nobody's Listening continues to be a family friendly clean comedy podcast enjoyed by adults, teens and pre-teens alike.

In September of 2007, David left the show for personal reasons. Regular guest-host and contributor, Trevor, was asked to join the show.
